Our research explains the critical elements of demand, supply, inventory and price for each commodity. This is achieved by extensive travel, wide industry consultation and by drawing on each analyst's considerable experience. Given this detailed knowledge we are then able to assess the profitability of each sector by calculating and benchmarking the operating costs of individual mines, smelters, refineries and steel plants.

Due to our research offices in Sydney, Australia and Hong Kong, we are fortunate to have been intimately involved in analysing Asia's industrial development since 1971. We believe this is an important advantage for us given the region's commanding role in raw commodities, energy and steel. In addition, our affiliates and office in London ensures we provide a balanced global perspective.
